Infusing the idea of the original “wave” logo, we sought to create a more mascot-like logo by incorporating a beacon in a circular structure then simplifying it .
The Great Lakes Academy is a non-profit, educational organization in south Chicago that aims to prepare students for high school, college, and a career of their choice. They were in need of a rebrand that better reflected their vision for their school. With the right ideas and hearts in place, we updated their brand guideline and extended the work through various mediums.
